Summer is starting this week with higher temperatures and humidity. Please stay safe and make sure your property is clean around your home and barns.
Be on the lookout for snakes as they will be active with the higher temperatures. Luckily, the lake levels are starting to recede but there are still plenty of hazards in the water and around the shore lines.

The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday andWednesdayat10:00a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to rent the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffries at 405-684-1636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
