Southeastern spring commencement for baccalaureate degrees was Saturday at Bloomer Sullivan Arena and master’s degrees were presented Friday.
The university said the Spring 2025 graduating class resets the record for the largest graduating class in Southeastern’s history, with 877 students graduating – 324 baccalaureate degree recipients, 553 graduate degree recipients, and 47 certificate recipients. There are representatives from 44 states and U.S. territories, 10 countries, and 17 sovereign tribal nations.
Within the graduating class, 305 graduates have indicated first-generation status, with 69 indicating legacy status – having a parent or grandparent who previously graduated from Southeastern. More than 94 percent of the class is graduating with a degree in Oklahoma’s critical occupation listing.
