The October Yard of the Month award has been proudly presented to Pat and Patty Tickel of Mockingbird Lane. Their exceptional front yard display, festively decorated for Fall, has captured the attention and admiration of the community.
The Tickels created a large front yard setup that serves as a vital pollinator habitat, combining community beautification with environmental support. Pat is also a community leader in our local beekeeping group and community.
A charming highlight of their decor is the creative use of a round hay bale transformed into a whimsical cow. The scene is further enhanced by an abundance of traditional seasonal items, including various pumpkins and gourds.
This recognition is welldeserved, as the display showcases not only thoughtful maintenance and upkeep but also a wonderful commitment to seasonal decor for everyone in the neighborhood to enjoy. The Madill Rose Garden Club extends a heartfelt thank you to Pat and Patty for supporting and beautifying their neighborhood in such a creative and thoughtful manner.

The Madill Rose Garden Club is part of the South Central District of Oklahoma Garden Clubs, Inc., and also belongs to the South Central Region of the National Garden Clubs, Inc. Founded in April 1951, the club has adopted the theme: “Support and Beautify Our Community.”
