This game went back and forth all night until, in the third overtime session, Ethan Wilkerson pulled up for a three-pointer at the buzzer and banked it in for the win. That final shot capped off a big night for Wilkerson, notching his second doubledouble of the young season (23 points/11 rebounds) and helpingtheWildcatsremain unbeaten. Wilkerson leads an experienced Wildcat squad with a senior-heavy arsenal of players who all contribute to Madill’s early success.
The loss for Kingston was their third of the season and their first district defeat, leaving them with an 0-3 record to start the season. This Marshall County rivalry will fire up once again January 12 in Kingston in the rematch in Lake Country play.
