On December 15,the Plainview Indians came over from Ardmore to face the Madill Wildcats, who are riding a 17game home winning streak,in hopes of pulling a big upset. Madill was up to the task and made easy work of the Indians, winning their 18th straight home game 49-30 in front of the Wildcat faithful.

Ethan Wilkerson led all scorers on the night with 17, but it was Greg Padgett’s 15-point effort that sparked theWildcatsallnight.Padgett was 5 for 6 from beyond the three-point arc and was named Player of the Game.

Wilkerson continued to dominate the boards, 15 against the Indians, and has been a nightmare matchup for any team that the Wildcats have faced.

Madill remains undefeated, sporting a 7-0 record overall and 3-0 in district play. Their next district matchup is a home tilt against Byng on January 9, before the rematch on the road versus rival Kingston on January 12. Plainview will take their 2-4 record, 0-1 in Lake County play, into their next game against the Longhorns of Lone Grove on January 9.
