On October 6, the Kingston Redskins clashed with the Davis Wolves in Davis. The District game was a neck-and-neck battle that culminated in the Redskins snatching a victory and ending Davis's winning streak.

Cash Walker said the game was a culmination of determination and practice.

“Wehadareallygoodweek of practice,” Cash Walker said. “We went out there and did what we were supposed to do. The O-line and D-line both did a great job.”

The game commenced as the Wolves kicked off, with the Redskins fielding the ball at their own 35-yard line. Kingston marched to midfield, where Cash Walker dashed to the 40-yard line. The drive ended at the 15 when Sam Walker sprinted into the endzone, securing the game's first touchdown and with Jamie Lewis’s extra point, Kingston was on the scoreboard 7-0 with seven minutes and 42 seconds left in the first quarter. After the kickoff, Davis started from its own 36-yard line. They slowly advanced down the field, reaching the five-yard line before the first quarter came to a close.

Thesecondquarteropened with a Davis touchdown from the five-yard line, taking the score to 7-7 with the extra point only 11 minutes and 51 remaining into the quarter. Kingston, starting from its own 35-yard line, advanced to the midfield and then to the 20-yard line where Reid Patterson broke free with a 12-yard run to the 8, followed by a dash to the endzone. With the following extra point, the Redskins broke the tie 14-7 at the 5-minute and 27-second mark.

Davis, receiving the kickoff, was halted at their own 25-yard line and forced to punt, allowing the Redskins to start their drive from the 49. Kingston attempted to advance but was stopped leading to a punt, as well. Davis, beginning from their own eight-yard line after the punt, made it to the 24-yard line before halftime arrived with the Redskins leading 14-7.

The third quarter began with the Redskins kicking to the Wolves, who reached the 37-yard line before punting. Kingston, starting at the 10yard line, advanced to the 21yard line. Cash Walker then executed an impressive 58 yard run to the 22-yard line, with Reid Patterson pushing forward to the 10. After resistance on the six-yard line, the Redskins opted for a field goal, successfully scoring at the five-minute and four-second mark increasing their lead to 17-7.

Davis, starting at their 32-yard line after the kickoff, executed a 38-yard run to the 24-yard line. They then advanced to the 10-yard line and scored their second touchdown with the extra point, reducing their deficit to 17-14 at the one-minute and 32-second mark. After the kickoff, the away team reached the 40-yard line and, with a well-placed pass to Eli Oliger, advanced to midfield before the quarter concluded.

The fourth quarter commenced with Kingston at the 44-yard line before a punt blocked by the Wolves propelled Davis to the 35-yard line. From there, they ran to the 15-yard line and then dashed into the endzone, seizing the lead at 21-17 with nine minutes and 30 seconds remaining after a touchdown and extra point.

The Redskins, starting at the 37-yard line after the kickoff, made it to the 48yard line thanks to a run by Cash Walker; however, an interception by the Wolves on the 20-yard line halted the Redskinsprogress.Thegame took a sudden turn in the Wolves favor. Davis began moving the ball down the field trying to run down the clock. However, the Redskin defense stood its ground and forced a turnover on downs.

With newfound momentum, Kingstondrovefromthe 40 to the 32 with a pass to Cash Walker, who soon after, caught another impressive pass from Patterson at the two-yard line. Immediately, Patterson went to Parks Ratzlaff who ran the ball for the fourth touchdown and with Lewis’s extra point, securing a 24-21 lead with just one minute and 15 seconds left in the final quarter.

Davis attempted a comeback, returning to the 39yard line after the kickoff and advancingtothe25;however, their last-ditch effort, an incomplete pass to the endzone, signaled the end of the game, with the Redskins emerging victorious at 24-21.
