Jose Anguiano,also known as Nacho, is an 18-year-old senior at Madill High School who has made a significant impact both academically and athletically. Coming from a close-knit family, Nacho has always strived to make his parents, Clemente and Maribel, proud. He has two siblings, Maribel (who shares the same name as their mother) and Esmeralda, as well as a nephew named Itzael and a niece named Zoey.

Nacho has been a part of the Madill public school system since Pre-K and has excelled in various sports and activities throughout his educational journey. He has been actively involved in track, cross country, soccer, and even holds the honorable position of being the school mascot.

His dedication and hard work have earned him numerous medals and accolades, with his favorite medal being the one he received for securing second place in the mile run at a Kingston track meet hosted by Madill, where he achieved an impressive time of five minutes and 45 seconds.

When it comes to sports and activities, Nacho said he didn't have a specific person who inspired him. Rather, he took the initiative to try different things and see where his passions lay. However, his father has always been a rolemodelforhim,constantly supporting and wanting the best for Jose in all aspects of his life.

Nacho’s biggest challenge has been to make his parents proud, and he has dedicated himself to achieving this goal. He said he believes that no dream is too big and advises his younger classmates to never give up on their dreams, no matter how challenging they may seem.

Some of Nacho's fondest memoriesarethetimeswhen his teams became district champions. These moments of triumph and camaraderie have left an indelible mark on his high school experience. He credits his coaches for constantly pushing him to become a better athlete and remains grateful for their motivation and guidance.

Looking towards the future, Nacho plans to attend OSUIT to study electricity. He said he understands that dreams are essential, but it takes discipline and hard work to turn them into reality. With his determination and the support of his family, there is no doubt that Jose will achieve great success in his chosen field and continue to make his parents proud.
