Texoma Volunteer Fire District is having the annual Labor Day Weekend Mexican Pile-On. The date for the Pile-On is September 4, 2021, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Texoma Fire District Community Center located at 10978 Parkview, Kingston, Okla. This is South of Texoma State Park, close to Rooster Creek Bridge (the yellow one lane bridge).
Admission will be a $6.00 donation for adults and $3.00 for children 10 and under. The meal will include chips, meat, beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, jalapenos, picante sauce, and sour cream, as well as a dessert and drink. The Ladies Auxiliary will also be selling tee shirts for $18 and baked potato microwavable bags for $5.00. All proceeds go to the Volunteer Texoma Fire District, Inc. So come join us for some food, fun, and conversation.
The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors will meet the first Thursday of every month, at the Training/ Community Center at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend. The Texoma Fire District Auxiliary will have its regular meetings on the third Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. with a social gathering at 1:00 p.m.
The exercise/stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., and the cards/games are on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in on the fun. Bring finger food to share and have a fun time.

If you are interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, contact Chief Todd Cissell at (580) 565-4491. You can also pickup an application from the mailbox at the station, fill it out and return to the station.
Lighthouse Methodist Church has started back with their Wednesday night meals on the last Wednesday of the Month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This week will be the Back-to-School Bash with food and games. Come out and enjoy.
