Kustom Solution Fabrication, owned by Mike Williamson, is a provider opf various types of metal fabrication needs. They specialize in custom wildlife handrails for balconies, lofts and stairs, as well as manufacturing fire pits, grills, cookers, stoves, custom signs and novelties. They will be celebrating three years of operation in April.

With two locations in Kingston, Okla., and Loco, Okla., Kustom Solution Fabrication is conveniently accessible to customers in the area. Williamson said he decided to open the business after retiring from the oilfield and following his passion for metal fabrication and design.

Creating one-of-a-kind projects for happy customers is his favorite part of the business, he reminisced.

Prior to starting Kustom Solution Fabrication, Williamson had a diverse career. He began his welding career at S&H trailers and WW trailers in the mid to early 90s, working in the custom shop and gaining experience in design and fabrication for custom trailer builds.

He then moved on to the oilfield industry, working in construction, roustabout and mechanical fields related to drilling, production and pipelines. He also spent a couple of years in West Africa as an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager, installing new offshore production and storage unit platforms. In early 2021, he retired from a 15-year career in Environmental, Health, and Safety.

Williamson graduated from Dickson High School. He and his wife have a home in Kingston and a small farm in Loco, Okla. Most of their close family also resides in the area. They have been marriedfor28yearsandhave two grown boys and three grandchildren.

Looking towards the future, Williamson said Kustom Solution Fabrication continues to grow each year. He also said he plans to start a small manufacturing shop this year.
