Mother Nature is unsure of whether to bring in the warm or cold temps these days, so best we all dress in layers until she decides. Hard to believe January is half over already yet we still have plenty of time to ensure those New Year's promises will come to fruition.
The Texoma Southern Baptist Church will again have their "Open Arms Clothes Closet" open for anyone wanting warmer clothes or most anything they may need. It will be open Saturday, January 15, 2021, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Our local Firemen will be hosting their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Buncombe Creek Volunteer Fire Station. Be sure to come down and see what they have been doing.
