I do hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas and New Year. January is upon us, and the weather has been rather pleasant down here at the lake. Folks are still out fishing off the shore or from their boat and finding it very productive.
The Striper are biting. Come down into Buncombe Creek and enjoy the benefits of Lake Texoma while shopping at our local Marina and dining at the Anchor’N Restaurant. There is something for everyone for dining and nighttime accommodations as well.
The Buncombe Babes Red Hat group will meet for lunch at Roma’s in Durant. The fun starts this Friday, January 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. The ladies always enjoy their monthly outings and wouldn’t mind others joining as well.

The Kingston Schools will be closed this Friday, January 7.
