On April 16, 2022, the Buncombe Creek Volunteer Fire Dept. will be hosting their annual meeting at the firehouse at 11:00 a.m. They will be voting on three board members for a three-year term as well as discussing other business. Be sure to attend.
Easter is just around the corner on April 17. The tornado damage to the Texoma Southern Baptist Church has rendered it a total loss. Therefore, a local family has volunteered to have an Easter Egg Hunt at the Buncombe Creek Volunteer Fire Department grounds. It will be held from 3-4pm on Saturday, April 16. All children from toddler through fifth grade are welcome. It should be a lot of fun.
The Shay Community Center will have their Easter Dinner on April 14 at 6:30 p.m. There is no charge for the dinner, and they will be serving ham with all the trimmings. Please come and share the fellowship of you neighbors.
