Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so dig out your fat pants and prepare to enjoy your turkey feast as we gather with family and friends and give thanks for all we have in our lives. Let’s pray next year will see a brighter future ahead.
The Open Arms Clothes Closet sponsored by the Texoma Southern Baptist Church will be open November 19 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Baldwin Storage shed #94. Also, the Buncombe Creek Volunteer F.D. will again host their monthly meeting at the fire hall on Tuesday, November 15 at 7 p.m. Come by and hear what they are doing.
The Enos area is gearing up for their annual Christmas Parade to be held Saturday, December 3 at 1 p.m. The donation boxes for new toys this year will be set up at Mata’s Lunchbox Taqueria, Anchor N Restaurants and Enos Dollar General. Please bring new toys only.
Remember the Kingston youth are out for their Thanksgiving break from November 21 through November 25, so be sure to watch out for children.
