Two Madill wrestlers advance to the state tournament

Stephen Sisco, Bryce Coles, James Daniel and Madill senior Griffon Williams (all pictured in the above left photo) wrestled in the Class 4A regional tournament on February 2, 2021 in Clinton. Williams finished second in the 285-pound class and advances to the state tournament February 26 and 27 in Oklahoma City. In the top right photo, Williams takes his place on the podium to signify taking second place in the tournament.

Brayleigh Thompson (below left) gained a spot in state on February 25, 2021 in Oklahoma City as a member of the Lady ‘Cats wrestling squad. Thompson is the first Madill girls wrestler to place in the regional February 8, 2021 and earn a spot in the upcoming state tournament.
