Three Madill cheerleaders were named part of the AllArdmoreitecheerteam.Evan Watts, Jaelen Williams and Logan Rushing received the honors.

Eachgirlmadetheteamfor various reasons. Madill head coach Shanda Burnett said they each contribute their talents to the team.

“Evan is a four-year member of Madill High School cheer, our team captain and our team choreographer,” Burnett said. “Evan has a true gift for creating dances that make our team shine and the ability to break those dances down and teach them to the other squad members. She puts in countless hours designing these routines and comes up with 7-10 dances a year for us.”

“Jaelen is a four-year member of Madill varsity cheer,” Burnett added. “She has worked very hard every year to get better and become a leader on this year’s squad. She helps with the behindthe- scenes things that often go unnoticed by those, not on our team, but we know we wouldn’t be successful without her pitching in to do those for us.”

“Logan is truly an example of ‘We before me,’ as she has pushed through pain and put off surgery to ensure her team got to compete this year at Game Day,” Burnett said as she continued to list the girls’ positive traits. “Logan also is one of the first to jump in and help whenever needed and can be counted on to get things done. She is working with the next generation of Madill cheerleaders.”
