Beloved Madill wrestling coach retires

Madill’s beloved wrestling coach will be retiring at the end of the academic school year. Coach Jim Love’s last wrestling dual against Ada was February 6.

Love’s Hall of Fame coaching career spans 41 years at various schools. Love coached former Wildcat’s Rio Zamora and he went on to wrestle for UCO.

He also coached Judge Hartin and he signed on to play D1 college football for the University of Tulsa.

Love’s career saw multiple state wrestling placers. He was inducted into the National WrestlingHallofFame Oklahoma Chapter in 2011.
