The weather has cooled in Marshall County but there’s another reason for supporters of Kingston Schools to go to tomorrow’s game against Coalgate. The reason is simple: football homecoming.

This year homecoming is on one of two final guaranteed home dates for the Kingston Redskins. The team will next play at home on Friday, November 1.

This year’s Senior Queen candidates are Tyla Bohannon, Abigail Hawkins and Taylor Spence. The junior princess is Avri Weeks. The sophomore princess is Presley McKnight. The freshman princess is Ethel Stewart. The flower girl is Myah Carlile.

The king candidates are Tyler Blanchard, Tanner Showalter and Kolton Daniel. The football escorts are Jesse Rose, Braden Matchen and Karson Daniel. The crown bearer is Jarek Taylor Stovall.

QUEEN CANDIDATES

Tyla Bohannon is the senior daughter of Travis and Sherry Bohannon. She has two sisters, Havyn and Kamry. Tyla is involved in basketball and softball. In her spare time, she attends church, goes to the beach, goes shopping and hangs out with her family and her friends. Her future plans are to graduate college and become a dental hygienist, eventually have some beautiful babies, marry a smokin’ husband and then live happily ever after.

Abigail Hawkins is the senior daughter of Chad and Crystal Hawkins. She has one brother, Thomas. Abigail is a trainer for the both football and boys basketball teams. She hangs out with her friends and family when not at football practice. Her future plans include graduating college, becoming an occupational therapist and marry a hot lawyer.

Taylor Brooke Spence is the senior daughter of Julie Hartman and John Spence. She has two sisters, Alexis and Braylee Spence. She is involved in fastpitch and slowpitch softball, select softball, student council, FCA and NHS. In her spare time, Taylor watches Grey’s Anatomy, reads, works out at C4, hangs out with her friends and family, and beats Zane in iMessage games. Her future plans include playing college softball at NCTC, getting a degree, making more money than both of her sisters and living a life full of happiness.

PRINCESSES

Avri Jewel Weeks is the junior daughter of Mindi Weeks and Brandon Haigood. She has two siblings, RJ and Dilynn Weeks. She is involved in basketball, track and youth at Kingston First Baptist Church. In her spare time, Avri spends time with her family, gives RJ work in one on one, watches the Bachelor, goes on ice cream runs and has jam sessions with her girls and Jesse Dan. Her future plans include graduating college, buying a van, exploring the world, marrying a stud, and have division 1-bound children.

Presley Gail McKnight is the sophomore daughter of Brad and Kim McKnight. She has a brother, Bradley McKnight. She plays basketball. In her spare time, she shops, hangs out with friends and family and eats ice cream. Her future plans are to graduate
