Wesley Marka Taylor 75, of Madill, Okla. passed away Dec. 13, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo, Okla. He was born on June 10, 1945 in Chickasha, Okla. to the late William Taylor and Cleo Zwingle Taylor. Wesley attended Bradley and Lindsay Schools and married Alvita Austin Jan 27, 1965 in Sherman, Texas.
He later joined the United States Army and served for several years.
He is survived by his wife Alvita Taylor of Madill, Okla., his sons Terrell Taylor of Wetumka, Okla., Chad Taylor and and wife Loni and granddaughter Layla Taylor of Kingston, Okla. and bonus grandchildren Max, Jack, and Ali Hinsley of Sadler, Texas, his brothers; Ron Taylor and wife Charlotte of Durant, Okla., and Boise Dee Taylor and wife Peggy of Royse City, Texas, along with many cousins, in laws, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Cleo Taylor, and ten siblings Wilma Painter, Lloyd Taylor, Fern Larabee, JB Taylor, Buford Taylor, Ruth Clift, Betty English, Harold Taylor, Gerald Taylor, and Danny Taylor.
Service will be Friday, December 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Todd McRay will officiate the service. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
