Twala Lou Taylor

Twala Lou Taylor, 60, of Madill, Okla., passed away on August 16, 2022, at her home in Madill. She was born on October 24, 1961, in McKinney, Texas to Albert Loyd Gentle and Lois Katherine Teague Arzola. Twala was raised in the Wichita Falls and later moved to Madill. She later lived in Fort Worth, Texas where she met her future husband.

In 1995, she moved back to Madill and on July 2, 1998 she married David Lee Taylor Sr. Twala worked as a CMA and she enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts, making jewelry, tending to her plants and she loved her family.

Twala is survived by her husband, David Lee Taylor, Sr. of Madill, Okla.; mother, Lois Katherine Arzola of Madill, Okla.; children, Michael Gibson and wife Kerrie of Madill, Okla., David Taylor Jr. and wife Christy of Grand Saline, Texas, Shawna Gibson of Calera, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Zanthan LeBlanc, Treven LeBlanc, Micah Gibson, Brylin Gibson, Melody Soltero, Kaleb King, Nicholas Taylor, Kelsie King, Kaylee King and McKenzie Gibson; five great grandchildren, Destiny, Lylah, Elijah, Lorilei and Adeline; brother, Albert (Bubba) Gentle, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sisters, Margie Harrison of Madill, Okla., and Linda Hook, Madill, Okla.

Visitation was Monday, August 22, 2022 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a family from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Funeral service was 2:00 p.mm, Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Jay Moore officiated the service. Interment was at the Powell Cemetery in Powell, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
