Shelby Lorraine Murphy passed Thursday, January 21, 2021, from COVID-19 complications. Born October 3, 1944, to Irene Zachry in Lockesburg, Ark. She graduated from Central High School, Oklahoma City, Okla., and attended business school. Shelby married W. G. (Dub) Murphy October 9, 1965, and had one son, Wesley.
After retiring from the trucking business, Shelby & Dub moved to Enos, Okla. She was preceded in death by Dub in 2017, and her parents, Kenneth and Irene Zachry, and her nephew, Jason Minyard.
She is survived by her son, Wesley, and Justin ofMoore, Okla, Wyatt ofEdmond, Okla, and Weston ofNorman, Oklah, who were the loves ofher life. She is also survived by two sisters, Dell Morton and husband, Harry, of Enos, Okla., and Anita Minyard and husband, Doug, of Noble, Okla.; as well as nieces and nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
Shelby had a sweet spirit and a loving, giving heart, and will be greatly missed.
