Rosa Bell Lemmons, 85 of Kingston, Okla., passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, at her home in Kingston. She was born on September 6, 1935 in Old Woodville in Marshall County, Okla. to the late Andrew Cobb and Elberta Gamble Cobb. Rosa was raised and lived her entire live in Marshall County. She married Andrew Lemmons in September 1960 in Bryan County, Okla. and he preceded her in death on September 28, 1995. Rosa worked as a nurse’s aide in the medical field.
She is survived by her children; Earl Lee of Kingston, Okla., Rickey Lemmons of Kingston, Okla., six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brothers; Andrew Cob, b Frank Cobb, and Pete Cobb, sisters; Francis Cash, and Iona Buckaloo, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son; James Monroe one sister; Willie Lee Richie.
Visitation was held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla.
Services were 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Okla. Donnie Lehr officiated the service. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
