Norma Jean Stewart, 78, of Madill, OK, passed away Wednesday, February 26th, 2020, in an Oklahoma City hospital. Norma was born April 5th, 1941, to the late Andrew Heltzel and Gladys Watkins of Madill, OK. She grew up in Madill and lived in the area most of her life before moving to Oklahoma City where she lived out the remaining part of her life.
She is survived by her sister Evelyn Crockett, children: Cathy Awalt (husband Eric), Donald Stewart and Mike Stewart, grandchildren: Billy D. Awalt, Crystal Walters, and Amanda Reed. She also leaves behind 10 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Dan Heltzel, Cecil Heltzel, E.D. Kenedy, James Kenedy and Ernest Kenedy.
As per her wishes, there will be no services. She only wanted to leave her advice, “Learn to forgive people and love them for who they are.”
