Nesie Casas Wilkerson, 58, passed away on September 13, 2021. She was born March 23, 1963, in North Cotabato, Philippines to Vicente and Coronacion Casas. As the youngest of eight children, she was given the nickname “bunso.”
Her childhood was spent enjoying life, the company of her large loving family and friends, and playing on their family land. After completing high school, she moved to Olongapo City to find work.
While there, she met her future husband Leslie Edward Wilkerson.They were joined in holy matrimony in June of 1983. Two years later they moved to the United States where they built and shared their life together for 38 years. To this union two children were born, Micheal and Tracy.
Nesie’s hobbies included being outdoors, gardening, boating, fishing, biking, sewing, spending time with friends, playing with her dogs Ellie and Jinx, and making people smile. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her husband and children.
Nesie departed this life peacefully surrounded by her devoted husband and two children. She was preceded in death by her father, Vicente Casas, mother, Coronacion Casas, brothers; Rey Casas, Nelson Casas, Deomedy Casas, and Joey Casas.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Leslie Wilkerson, son, Micheal Wilkerson, daughter, Tracy Wilkerson, sisters; Mema Espinosa, Emfa Casas and Gemma Casas, as well as a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
