Martha Ann Hagood, 68 of Lebanon, Okla. passed away on April 25, 2021 at her home in Lebanon. She was born on February 10, 1953 in Madill, Okla. to Charlie Elmo Denver Rushing and Leon Wilma Page Rushing. Martha was raised in Powell and graduated from Madill High School in 1971.
She married Randy Hagood on August 14, 1971 in Whitesboro, Texas. Martha later attended Ardmore Higher Education before going to Murray State College where she received a degree in Nursing. She worked as an RN at the Marietta Nursing Center and the Health Department in Ardmore and later in Madill before retiring in 2015.
Martha was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church and she enjoyed working with cattle and horses. She liked working in the garden and playing dominoes. She is survived by her husband Randy Hagood of Leba
She is survived by her husband Randy Hagood of Lebanon, Okla., son Ryan Keith Hagood of Lebanon, Okla., mother Leon Wilma Rushing of Powell, Okla., brothers Charlie Wayne Rushing and wife Kay of Powell, Okla., Richard Rushing and wife Terri of Powell, Okla., sister Carolyn Fajardo of Madill, Okla., sister-in-laws; Kay Muncrief of Madill, Okla., Karoleen Hagood of Powell, Okla., Barbara Ruzicho of Powell, Okla., and several nieces and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her father; Charlie Rushing, one daughter; Amy Hagood, one son; Randall Hagood, father and mother in-law; DE (Brown) and Melba Hagood.
Casket Bearers will be Alan Parrish, Dwain Scott, Daniel Nixon, Denver Rushing, Jon Willis, Jeff Idleman, and Wayne Seay.
Honorary Bearers are the REA Board of Directors .
Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be Friday, April 30, 2021 at Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Roy Vinson will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon, Okla.
