Mark Alan Danner

Mark Alan Danner 65, of Madill, Okla. passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at his home in Madill. He was born on October 20, 1955 in Ardmore, Okla. to the late Marion Francis Danner and Agnes Lucille Givens Danner. He was raised in Madill where he graduated from Madill High School in 1973.

Mark was a long-time resident of Madill. He worked at Total Petroleum in Ardmore before going to work for McBeth Trucking hauling cattle. Mark also worked for Marshall County Dist. #2, Martin Marietta Rock Quarry, dispatched for Marshall County Police Department and worked as a volunteer Fire Fighter in Madill.

He married Brenda Joyce Thompson on April 15, 1996 in Madill. Mark loved telling jokes, he had the gift of gab. He enjoyed tinkering in his workshop and anything to do with estate, garage and antique sales. His greatest love was his family, visiting with his kids and grandkids.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, brother; James Danner, and sister; Bobbie Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Joyce Danner of Madill, Okla., his children; David Danner and wife Shay of Midwest City, Okla., Dustin Danner of Tulsa, Okla., Jason Cobb of Tulsa, Okla., Duane Eppler of Lebanon, Okla., and Amber Joy Bell and husband Brian of Lebanon, Okla., his 15 grandchildren; Trinity, Alexis, Haily, Letty, Skylee, Xander, Karson, Dustin, Ethan, Tyler, Sydney, Nariah, Michael, Morgan and Asher, his sisters; Peggy Martin of Bentonville, Ark., and Mary Ann Blakely and husband Doyle of Madill, Okla.

Visitation was held Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service were 10:00 a.m. on Madill, October 4, 2021 at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Kendall Whitehead officiated the service. Interment was held at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery in Madill, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Leroy Yow, Byron Self, James Chapman, Steve Armstrong, Kenny Dinse and Shake Carter .
