Larry Gene Robinson, 70, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at his home in Madill. He was born on July 2 1949, in Madill to John Ivan Robinson and Velma Louise (Blakely) Robinson. Larry was raised in Madill and graduated from Madill High School in 1967.
Larry lived and worked in Houston, Texas and Oklahoma City before returning to Madill, where he lived the rest of his life. One of Larry’s favorite pastimes was working in his flower gardens, even winning awards for his beautiful landscaping.
He also loved antiques and collectibles. Larry was always willing to help others and never met a stranger. Larry is survived by his children; Darla Robinson and David Robinson, mother of his children’ Diane Robinson, siblings; Jimmy (Bebe) Robinson, Jesse (Sharon) Robinson, Stephen (Elaine) Robinson, Mary (Danny) Spencer, Darrell (Christine) Robinson, Sister in-law; Leanne Robinson and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; John and Velma Robinson, brother; Bruce Robinson and nephew; Paul Robinson.
Services were held in his honor on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla.
