Johnny Robinson

Johnny Robinson, 93, of Ardmore, Okla. passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Lake Country Nursing Center in Marietta, Okla. He was born on December 15, 1927 to the late Timothy Robinson and Grace Smith Robinson. Johnny attended the Orchard Elementary and Madill High School before joining the Military, serving in the WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He served in Air National Guard and Air Force where he retired after 32 years, 10 months and 13 days as a Master Sergeant.

Johnny married Joan Rose Cude on August 26, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Okla. Johnny later moved to the Ardmore area and was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Madill and he enjoyed being with his family and friends.

He was survived by his wife, Joan Rose Robinson, of Ardmore, Okla., children; Debra Reeves and husband Sid of Oklahoma City, Okla., Becky Shaw and husband Larry of Mannsville, Okla., Terri Householder and husband Thurman of Dickson, Okla., Jonetta Blakely and husband Clay, Dickson, Okla., 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, sisters; Josephine Dobbs of Enid, Okla., and Christine Hughes of Marietta, Okla.

He was preceded in death by parents, daughter; Melinda Greb, six brothers, two sisters, and one grandson; Timothy John Lou Greb.

Visitation was held Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary from 6:00 p.m.

Funeral services were Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Madill, Okla. Father Oby Zunmas officiated the service. Interment was at the Wilson Creek Cemetery in Ardmore, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
