James Charles Nabors, 68, of Lebanon, Okla.passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, in Lebanon. He was born on September 26, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas to the late J. C. Nabors and Lavina Johanna Framness Nabors.
James was raised in Powell and attended Kingston Schools. He joined the United States Army and served for three years before attending Cooke County College where he received an Associates Degree in Applied Science. James worked for District 3 in Marshall County and worked with his brother Jackie and brother in-law, David. He also worked as security guard at Windstar Casino. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching old westerns.
He is survived by his son, Michael James Nabors, brothers; Jackie Nabors and wife Judy of Madill, Okla., Robert Nabors and wife Shelia, Madill, Okla., sisters; Anna Mae Sliger and husband Wayne of Lebanon, Okla., Betty Moss and husband Clifton of Madill, Okla., Linda Horn and husband David, Madill, Okla.
James was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Marsha Dyer.
