He fought for his country with the United States Army from October 17, 1952 to August 12, 1954. He entered as a Private I and ended his rank as Sargent First Class. He served during the Korean Conflict / War.
Jack worked for the City of Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department from 1957 to 1980 then retired. Jack and Marge moved to Lebanon in 1981.While living in Kingston Okla., he continued to work for many years as a landscaper and pool maintenance in Madill and Lebanon, Okla. He moved to Harrah, Okla. in 2014 to be closer to his family. He was a man that knew how to live. He loved to fish, hunt, drink a cold beer and be around his family.
A celebration of his life will be held on June 12, 2022 at the Lebanon Senior Citizen Center from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. It will be pot luck.
