Glen Dale Colvin, 74, of Woodville, Okla., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, at his home in Woodville. He was born May 16, 1945, in Chickasha, Okla., to the late Merlin Ray Colvin and Johnnie May Step Colvin. Glen grew up in Corona, Calif., where he married Elizabeth (Susie) Everhart on Jan. 4, 1964, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 31, 2014.

In 1968, he moved to Woodville and worked at several jobs as a truck driver, a carpenter and helped build Uniroyal Tire Company. Glen was affiliated with the Pentecostal faith and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with the grandkids.

Glen is survived by his children: Guy DuWayne Colvin, Kingston, Okla.; Sharan Colvin, Kingston, Okla.; Earlleen Gaddis, Wichita, Kan.; grandchildren: Jamie Wild, Chris Compton, Glen Colvin III, Rochelle Points, Derek Gaddis, Kyle Colvin, Rainee Colvin and Riley Colvin; great-grandchildren: Jacob Wild, Alexya Fowler, Logan Murphy, Elizabeth Davis, Briella Points, Allie Compton, Glen Colvin IV, Oakley Colvin and D’lyla Points; sister: Dorinda Colvin, Calif.; brothers: DuWayne Colvin, Shawnee, Okla.; Darryl Colvin, Edmond, Okla.; and Dennis Colvin, Nashville, Tenn.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one son: Glen Dale Colvin, Jr.

Visitation was Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Woodville Cemetery, Woodville, Okla. DuWayne Colvin officiated. Casket bearers were: Riley Colvin, Guy Colvin and Jacob Wild
