Genevieve Watson Williams, 86, of Madill, Okla., passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill. She was born Sept. 12, 1933, in Madill to the late Oscar Watson and Alvaree Robinson Watson. Jenny was raised in Madill and later lived in California from 1969 to 1976, where she worked in the hospital. She moved back to Madill where she lived the rest of her life.
Jenny enjoyed volunteer work at the hospital. She was a member of the Cornerstone COGIC church in Madill and she enjoyed gardening and working outside.
Jenny is survived by her children: Otis Watson, Stockton, Calif.; Gregory Watson and wife, Sandra, Madill, Okla.; Jeffery Seals, Madill, Okla.; Gwendolyn Solomon, Madill, Okla.; grandchildren: Steve Cheadle, Patricee Watson, La’Ree Salmond, Kalita Watson, Jeremy Sheppard, Jermaine Sheppard, Jordan Sanders, Brittney Sanders, Ayden Humphrey Seals, Otis Watson, Jr. and Andre McDonald, Jr.; 25 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Trenton Watson, Madill, Okla.; Donnie Ray Watson, Madill, Okla.; sisters: Helen Gordon and husband Isaiah, Ardmore, Okla.; Alvaree Adair, Ardmore, Okla.; Estina Seals, Madill, Okla.; and Patricia Fields, Madill, Okla.
Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Rina Kay; five brothers: Orlando, Arthur Wade, Solon, A. J. William and Oscar Jr. and one sister: Betty Jean.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Okla. Bobby Davis, Sam Huff, Joseph Adair, Debra Davis Bowens, Melvin Bowen will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill, Okla.
Casket bearers are: Jerome Fields, Douglas Seals Jr., Kyon Gray, Ronnie Adair, Mark Gordon and Neil Watson.
