Gary Oliver, 91, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on February 15, 2020 at the Veterans Center in Ardmore, Okla. He was born on October 31, 1928 in Archer City, Texas to the late Frank Elbert Oliver and Mildred Irene Ward Oliver.

Gary was raised in Antelope, Texas and graduated from Antelope High School. He joined the United States Navy on June 4, 1946 and served until April 5, 1947 during World War II. Gary married Louise Janet Waddle on September 3, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

They lived in Wichita Falls before moving to Lawton, Okla. where they lived for several years and he owned and operated Oliver Oil Company. In 1992 they moved to Buncombe Creek on Lake Texoma where they lived until moving to Madill in 1994. Gary was a member of the Oakview Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing, fishing and wood working.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Janet Oliver of Madill, Okla., children; Darrell Wayne Oliver and wife Lydia of Madill, Okla., Maurice Allen Oliver of Tishomingo, Okla., Joyce Ellen Fulton and husband Mike of Lawton, Okla., six grandchildren; Michael Todd Fulton, Gary Dale Oliver, Crystal Dawn Richardson, Caranita Suzanne Woods, Cory Allen Oliver, Jordan Lea Travers, eight great grandchildren; Zeppelin Woods, Cade Richardson, Lane Oliver, Emmitt Oliver, Isaac Oliver, Mae Travers, and Reed Travers, brother Keith Oliver and wife Callie of Elgin, Okla., sisters; Peggy Ruth Ash of Greenville, Texas, and Francis Nell Burks of Burkburnett, Texas.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Charles Thomas Oliver and Kenneth Oliver.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Oakview Baptist Church, Madill, Okla. Greg Idell will officiate the services.
