Dorothy has been a resident of Madill, Okla., for all of her life. She was a member of Oakview Baptist Church of Madill. She sold Princess House Crystal and was a representative for Mary Kay. Dorothy also got her beautician license in the early 1970's and started her own business in Madill.

Dorothy married Lester Glenn Flana gan, in Madill, Okla., in 1954, and they shared fifty-two years before his passing in 2006. There were four children born to this union, Phoebe, Shawn, Linda, and Gregory. Dorothy loved her family with her whole heart and

Dorothy loved her family with her whole heart and enjoyed all the time that she had with them. Some of her fondest times were going camping in the summer with her family. She had a love for flowers, reading, and crocheting. Dorothy was a kind soul and was a friend to many. She will be greatly missed.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Flanagan; her daughter, Linda Sue Flanagan; her son, Gregory Glenn Flanagan; her sisters, Sarah Woods, Alvina Knight, and Kathrene Mays; and her granddaughter, Nikki Jones.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Phoebe Lucille ONeal ofCumberland, Okla., and Shawn Flanagan ofMadill, Okla.; her grandchildren, Shane, Karri, Dakota, Chris, and Bobby; and great-grandchildren, J aden, Faith, Rhett, Tacyn, Stetson, Easton, Axton, Josh, Ryland, Cory, Payne, Allison, Alexis, Eldon, Tayeskan, and Izayah.

A funeral service to honor the life of Dorothy is set to begin at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Oakview Baptist Church in Madill, Okla., with Greg I dell officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at the Woodberry Forest Cemetery in Madill, Okla.
