Dayna Sue Littleton, 79 of Durant, Okla. passed away on March 4, 2021 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on April 5, 1941 in Aylesworth, Okla. to the late S. W. Smith and Nancy Elene Strickland Smith. Dayna was raised in Kingston where she graduated high school in 1959. She married James Danner in 1958 and he passed away in 1994. Dayna later married O.P. Littleton in 1994 and he passed away in 2005.
She lived in Madill for 34 years before moving to Durant where she lived the past 26 years. Dayna owned and operated DaJa Beauty Supply in Durant for 15 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Durant. She was a natural caretaker and loved taking care of people.
She is survived by her daughter Jamie Dyer and husband Travis of Chickasha, Okla.
Dayna was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and two sisters: Janet Roberts and Charlene Beames.
Visitation was held Monday, March 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla.
Services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Kingston, Okla. Toni Hignight officiated the service. Interment was at the Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, Okla. Service was under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
