Darlia Kaye Nightengale, 79, passed from this earth on August 7, 2023, surrounded by love and family in Ojo Feliz, NM.
Kaye was born in Comanche, Okla. on July 2, 1944. She was a resident of Kingston for 20 years. She was an active member of the Lighthouse Methodist Church in Kingston. She loved her church family and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and needlepoint with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Johnnie West; brother, Haskell Willeford; husband, Bob Nightengale and son, Larry Glen Reid, Jr.
Kayeissurvivedbyherdaughter,JoniCooperofMemphis, Tenn.; son Larry Reid and his wife, Misty of Ojo Feliz, NM; eight grandkids and nine great grandkids.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 19 at the Lighthouse Methodist Church in Kingston. A meal will be held at the church following the service.
At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the church in Kaye and Bob’s name.
