Charles Allen Sisson, 64, of Kingston, Okla. passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Okla. He was born on February 12, 1957, in Wichita, Kans. to the late Charlie Sisson and Norma June Gorges Sisson. Charles was raised in Haysville, Kans. where graduated high school in 1975. He married Ann Marie Davis on February 14, 1975, in Haysville and she preceded him in death on February 17, 2021. He lived in Wichita and Oklahoma City before moving to this area in 1980. He worked for 40 years for Oklahoma Steel and Wire in several departments, most recently as a Night Foreman. Charles was a Mason and of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed hunting, smoking BBQ, traveling, and camping.
He is survived by his children; Roy Sisson and wife Sharla Dewitt of Sulphur, Okla., Elmer Sisson and wife Debbie of Sulphur, Okla., one grandchild, Aubrey Hurt, one great grandchild, Skylin Hudson, brother, Haskell Sisson and wife Sherrie of Madill, Okla., sister, Tammy Hunt of Ardmore, Okla., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and stepmother, Rose Sisson
Visitation was held Monday, August 2, 2021, at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral service were Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. David Boggs officiated the service. Interment was at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery in Madill, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
