Cebert Ray Cox 86, of Fobb, Okla. passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Texoma Medical Center, in Denison, Texas. He was born on May 12, 1934 in Fobb, Okla. to the late William Cox and Sadie Hargis Cox. Cebert was raised in the Willis and Fobb area.

He joined the United States Army where served for several years receiving an Honorable Discharge. Cebert married Hyahwahnah Dickerson on December 4, 1954 in Gainesville, Texas and she preceded him in death on January 20, 2015. He lived in San Miguel, Calif. due to the military before moving back to Marshall County area where he farmed and ranched the rest of his life.

Cebert was affiliated with the Baptist faith and he enjoyed gardening and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He loved hunting quail, fishing and his grandkids.

He is survived by his children; Johnny Cox and wife Karyn of Fobb, Okla., Brenda Reeves and husband Dan of Gordonville, Texas, his grandchildren; Jeremiah Cox, Christopher Cox, Tiffany Beshirs, Ethan Cox, Jacob Reeves and Ciera Cox, great grandchildren; Zach, Seth, Alayna, Glenna, Byron, Dakota, Abigail, Dalton, Caitlynn, Ava and Violet, step great grandchildren; Tyler and Braelyn, and great great grandchildren; Emberleigh and Kaydn.

Cebert was preceded in death by his parents, wife and four brothers.

Visitation was held Friday, August 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla.

Services were Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Chris Webb officiated the service. Interment was at Willis Cemetery in Willis, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Chris Cox, Jacob Reeves, Jeremiah Cox, Ethan Cox, Zachariah Burke, Seth Burke, Dakota Beshirs and Byron Beshirs.
