Wilson - Funeral Services for Mr. Carl Lee “Tiny” Powell, 60 of Madill, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Gene Cormier, Jr officiating. Interment will follow to Powell Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Lee was born December 14, 1959 in Holbrook, AZ to the late Mr. Carl Helton Powell and Mrs. Shelby Jean (Persilver) Powell. He departed from this life on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in Oklahoma City to be with his heavenly father.

Lee was raised in Wilson attending the Lone Grove School where he was a member of the Class of 1978. Lee worked in the oilfield and then as a truck driver for 28 years where he was known on the CB as “Tiny”. He loved his job and traveling. On September 18, 2006, Lee married his sweetheart Carol Garrett only being together for several years. He loved raising their two boys and family time. Lee enjoyed fishing, telling stories, gambling, meeting new friends whom he never met a stranger, but most of all, he enjoyed spoiling his queen and grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Carol of the home; sons, Craig Garrett and wife Mhyka of Madill and Cory Garrett and wife Sam of Madill; sister, Lena Edwards and husband John of Wilson; brothers, Mike Powell of Wilson and Pat Powell and wife Michelle of Wilson; grandchildren, Skylar, Jaxxon, Rhyder, Emorie and Carson; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Craig Garrett, Cory Garrett, Colten Allen, Roger Powell, Travis Powell and Ivan Ortiz. Honorary bearers will be Charlie Howell, David Hampton, John Edwards, and James Garrett.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
