Bruce Anthony Lilly, 62, of Kingston, Okla. passed away on Monday, October 1, 2023, at LifeCare Hospital in Plano, Texas.
He was born in Chicago, Ill. to the late Roy Arnold Lilly and his wife Anna Lois (Daugherty) Lilly. Bruce grew up in West Virginia before moving with his family to Chicago, and then South Elgin, Ill. He moved to Kingston in 2006.
Bruce worked as maintenance manager for ALPLA for five years. Bruce was of the Baptist faith. He liked hunting, fishing, woodworking, and he loved mechanic work.
Bruce was preceaded in death by his father and a brother, Hugh Lilly.
He is Survived by his mother, Anna VanDeVeire of Davis Junction, Ill.; children, April Shanks and husband James of Byron, Ill., Tiffany Lilly and husband Mike Griffinof Byron, Ill.; grandkids, Brittany Brown, Jon Zirk, Izabell Engles and Kaylin Austin; brothers, Mark Lilly and wife Carolyn of Kingston, Okla., Roy Lilly and wife Dianeof Sycamore, Ill., Dayton Lilly of Davis Junction, Ill.; companion, Donna Swietnick of Kingston, Okla.; special friend of the family, Amanda Havins; two great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 6, at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. Jeff Renard will officiate the service. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
