Bobbie Gene Eppler, 96, of Greenville, passed away on February 28, 2022, in Greenville, Texas.
Mr. Eppler was born June 27, 1925, in Shay, Okla. to William Clark Eppler and Myrtle Odell.He married Jane Pauline Minter on November 23, 1954, in Madill, Okla. He served in the United States Army
He served in the United States Army during WWII and in the United States Army Air Corp and United States Air Force in Korea. Mter his service, he worked for LTV, E-Systems and Raytheon. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church and past member of Park Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane, daughter, Linda, parents, and six brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his sons, Roger Eppler and wife, Amy of Greenville, and David Eppler and wife, Tracye of McKinney; grandchildren, Alexandria Eppler ofMcKinney and Samuel and wife, Samantha Eppler of Rowlett; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m, March 4, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Morgan officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
