Beverly Sue McDonald

Beverly Sue McDonald, 84, of Kingston, Okla. passed away on October 10, 2022, at the Kings Daughters and Son’s nursing center in Durant, Okla. She was born on May 3, 1938, in Memphis, Texas to the late Siro Monroe Ford and Edna Ruby Beavers Ford.

Sue was raised in Clarendon, Texas whereshegraduatedfromClarendonHigh School. She married Bob Allen McDonald on December 19, 1979, in Kingston, and he preceded her in death on May 4, 2010. They traveled over west Texas before moving to Kingston in 1977 where she lived the rest of her life. Sue worked at Dark Corners store, Texoma Sports Center, and for the Chickasaws as a clerk.

She was affiliated with the Baptist faith, and she enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her greatest love were her grandkids.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, nine sisters and seven brothers.

Sue is survived by her son, Jeff McDonald and wife Valerie of Kingston, Okla.; grandchildren, Caleb McDonald of Kingston, Okla., Kobe McDonald of Kingston, Okla.; and sister, Helen Ford of Kingston, Okla.

Visitation was held Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service was Friday, October 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. Joe Patterson officiated the service. Interment was at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Caleb McDonald, Jimmie Carlile, Darryle Wagon Bill Macon, Steve Corbett and Greg Jackson.
