Betty Elaine Higgins, 66, of North Willis, Okla. passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at her home in North Willis. She was born on September 16, 1955 in Atlanta, Texas to the late Wilburn Leslie Jester and Betty Lou Parker Jester.
Elaine was raised in McLeod, Texas where she attended school. She later worked at a Print Shop in the Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas area.
Elaine married Richard Allen Higgins, the love of her life, on August 9, 1999 in Texarkana, Ark. and they moved to North Willis. She was a member of the Powell Holiness Church, in Powell, Okla. and she enjoyed being with Richard, whether watching him fish, ride motorcycles, or just being with her cats. She loved visiting her family in East Texas but most of all she loved the Lord and was ready to be with her Savior, Jesus.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Higgins of North Willis, Okla., her siblings; Terry Ruby and husband Doug of Waldo, Ark., Hugh Jester and wife Lisa, of Atlanta, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Scott Brandon Jester.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Powell Holiness Church in Powell, Oklah. Gerald Wayne Lee will officiate the service. On October 9, 2021, there will be a graveside service at the Good Exchange Cemetery, McLeod, Texas at 1:00 p.m. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla.
