Anna Lou Burns Riha, of Tatum, NM, 88, passed away on September 1, 2021. Anna was born on November 3, 1932 in Aylesworth, Okla. to William Raymond and Lillie Evelyn (Drain) Nelms. Lou loved to dance and they would travel to go square dancing. She loved her family; she always remembered all of her family’s birthdays and make sure to send them a birthday card. Lou would go to Oklahoma every October to the Old Settlers class reunion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Lillie Nelms, her five siblings; husbands; F.N. Burns and Edward Riha and two stepsons; Mike Burns and Roy Neal Riha.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Graveside services for Anna was held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Tatum Cemetery with Raymond Derrick officiating.
