Anita Eileen Wallace

Anita Eileen Wallace, 82, passed away on February 25, 2022, at her home in Madill, Okla. She was born on February 9, 1940, in Ardmore, Okla. to the late Harold West and Myrtle Rose Burgess West.

Anita was raised in Ardmore where she graduated high school. She married Averil "Mutt" Eugene Wall ace Jr. on July 7, 1962, in Ardmore and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2019.

In 1962, she moved to Madill where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and she enjoyed metal detecting. Anita loved to travel to Colorado, riding in the Jeep on back mountain roads. She also traveled to Alaska, California, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

She is survived by her son, Alan Wallace of Madill, Okla.; grandchildren, John Wallace and wife Kim of Savannah, Texas, Mallory Brewer and husband Derek of Whitesboro, Texas, and Tyler Wallace of Whitesboro, Okla.; and great grandchildren, Ryan Wallace, Jayce Brewer and Lillie Brewer; sisters, Patricia Hughes and husband Paul of Ardmore, Okla., Barbara Hoffman and husband John of Kingston, Okla.; nieces and nephews, Belynda, Christy, Paul Jr., and Billy.

Visitation wase Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00p.m.

Service was Wednesday, March 2, at 2:00p.m. at Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla.

Randy Kendrick officiated the service. Interment was at the Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Tyler Wallace, Johnathon Wallace, Derek Brewer, and Kenny Wallace.
