Patsy Ruth Parrish, 81, of Powell, Okla. passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the Family Care Center in Kingston. She was born on December 16, 1941, in Enville, Okla. to the late Ted Theodore Muncrief and Lillian Emily Klein Muncrief.
PatsywasraisedinLebanonwhereshe attended school and later graduated from Madill High School in 1959. She married Wendyl W. Parrish on March 12, 1960, in Lebanon.
Over the years, Patsy worked as a secretary for Tommy Shaw, Donnie Welch, Joe Minter, Lynn Ables and Donna Rogers. In 1974, she started to work for Little Law Office and retired in 2010. Patsy was a member of the Powell Church of Christ, and she enjoyed quilting, going to the casinos, working in the garden, and canning. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grand and great grandkids.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Paul Parrish; great granddaughter, Abilene Reimer; brother, Ronnie Muncrief and sister, Barbara Thompson.
She is survived by her husband, Wendyl Parrish of Powell, Okla.; children, Alan Parrish and wife Lynise of Powell, Okla., Debbie Walston and husband Darrell of Marietta, Okla.; grandchildren, Ashley Slaton and husband Kenneth of Mangum, Okla., Laura Beth Niblett and husband Tillman of Powell, Okla., Austin Reimer and wife Amanda of Madill, Okla., Landyn Parish and wife Kolbi of Powell, Okla.; great grandchildren, Kelli Slaton, Paisley Macon, Sam Slaton, Sawyer Macon, Anson Reimer and Baylor Wheat; sister, Sandra Richardson and husband Harry of Madill, Okla.
Visitation was held Friday, April 28, 2023, at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. at 2 p.m. Chris Webb officiated the service. Interment was at the Powell Cemetery in Powell, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
Casket Bearers were Landyn Parrish, Austin Reimer, Tillman Niblett, Kenneth Slaton, Wiley Macon, Brian Muncrief and Brian Parrish.
