The Madill Record with sponsors BG's Catch in Kingston and Cinemark Theater ran the Heart to Heart Valentine's Day contest in the Madill Record newspaper. Hearts were hidden in the newspaper and readers had to count them for a chance to win. The winner, Fran Gambel won dinner for two at BG's Catch, two Cinemark movie tickets and a gift basket filled with crackers, cheeses, sparkling juice and wine glasses.
