Sarah Lee Minor 35, of Madill, Okla. passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the Alliance Hospital in Madill.ShewasbornonDecember5,1987, in Ardmore, Okla. to Alvin Lee McRavin and Patricia Lynn Gomes McRavin. Sarah was raised in Madill where she graduated high school in 2005. She later attended Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas where she received a bachelor’s degree in teaching. Sarah moved back to the Madill area and was a substitute teacher at Gainesville ISD for the past five to six years.
She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ardmore, and she enjoyed taking her daughter to museums. Sarah loved music, reading and her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Alvin McRavin; paternalgrandparents,VernonandDelmaPotts;maternal grandparents, Almer and Betty Gomes; and one aunt, Tresa Laeger.
She is survived by her daughter, Anagayle Minor of Madill, Okla.; mother, Patricia Lynn McRavin of Madill, Okla.; God parents, Larry and Becky Shaw of Ardmore, Okla.; and several uncles, aunts and cousins Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with at family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Interment will be at the Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville, Okla.
