- The Pride of Texoma Kington Band participated in the Pauls Valley Marching Band Championship on September 25. They brought home several awards after competing against 26 bands. In the Parade Competition, they took Outstanding Drumline Class 3A, Outstanding Drumline Overall Class 2A-5A, and 3rd Place Class 3A. In the Field Competition, the band received Outstanding Drumline Class 3A, Outstanding Auxiliary (Color Guard) Class 3A and 1st Place Large Class 3A. Courtesy photo
- The Madill Wildcat Band also participated in the Pauls Valley Marching Championship and came home with more trophies for their trophy case. For the Parade Competition, they received Outstanding Drumline Class 4A, Outstanding Guard Class 4A, Outstanding Drum Major Class 4A and 2nd Place in Class 4A. Their trophies for the Field Competition were Outstanding Guard Class 4, 3rd Place Class 4A - Large, and Class 4A Sweepstakes Band (top score in Parade & Field Competition).
