Vickie Ann (Carter) Farrell, 64, left this world Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Durant. She was born May 19, 1957, in Ardmore, Okla. to Kenneth Wayne Carter and Ellen (Golden) Scarberry.
Vickie was a 1975 graduate of Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City, where she was very active in sports. Following graduation, she resided in Davis, Okla. for several years, prior to moving away to manage an apartment complex. She later returned to Davis where she worked as the office manager for the Carter Oil Company. Vickie was full of love for her family and friends, especially for her three aunts, who were a big part of her life. She loved listening to all genres of music in her spare time.
Vickie and Benny Earl Farrell were united in marriage on May 7, 2017, in Kingston. She is survived by her husband, Ben Farrell ofKingston;
She is survived by her husband, Ben Farrell ofKingston; son, Derek Clymer of Oklahoma City; sister, Karen Stowers and husband Doug of Madill; grandchildren, Karline, Karlee Jo, and Preston Clymer; stepsons, Travis Farrell and fiance Amanda, and Casey Farrell and wife Mystene, all of Norman; step grandsons, Nate, and Derek Tabor; as well as nieces and nephews.
The family received friends, Monday evening, March 28,2022, from5:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m., Hale's Funeral Home in Davis, Okla.
Funeral services were held at 2:00p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Hale's Memorial Chapel in Davis, Okla., with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment followed at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
