Kenneth Mark Fitch

Kennith Mark Fitch, 66, of Kingston went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, February 11, 2022. He was born on November 29, 1955 to Dollie D. Fitch and the late Kennith Homer Fitch.

He graduated from Colbert High School in 1974 and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Metals Technology from SOSU in 1978 and later, fulfilling a lifelong passion, earned an associate’s degree in Gunsmithing from Murray State College in 1996. Mark worked as a draftsman for Texas Instruments and for the last 19 years as a machinist at Denison Industries. He was very good at what he did, highly skilled with his work well respected.

Mark met the one and only love of his life, Connie Jean Justice, in 1976 and they were married later that year. They enjoyed more than 45 years of wedded bliss and made many wonderful, heartwarming memories together. He was a hard worker, loving husband and father, cheerful grandfather and faithful friend.

Mark enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, gunsmithing, square dancing, reading and spending time with his family and loved ones. He was a deacon in his church and loved serving the Lord with a deep and unwavering devotion that was admired and appreciated by those who shared his life. He left this world unafraid and without worry, confidently knowing where he would be going. Mark, “Honey”, “Dad”, “Poppadopalous”…you were loved and will be greatly missed.
